JOBThe City of Bell is recruiting for an exciting career opportunity in the Public Works Department. We are looking for a team player who will assist the Public Works Department and work to modernize the Department operations. The Associate Civil Engineer will provide professional administrative and analytical assistance to the Public Works Department with City-wide issues, programs or operations. Plans, organizes and conducts special analytical projects and studies and prepares routine and comprehensive reports. Incumbents are expected to perform the full scope of assigned duties.

DEFINITION
Under general supervision, designs and checks civil engineering projects consisting of streets, sewers, storm drains, and structures; checks engineering plans, estimates, reports and specifications for a wide variety of civil engineering projects; maintains engineering records and maps; performs other related duties as required.
