This INCREDIBLE personal injury law firm is looking for its next associate attorney to assist in providing legal counsel to its AMAZING clients. In addition, you will work closely with our senior partners and associates in the pre-litigation and litigation phases for plaintiff's personal injury cases involving motor vehicle collisions, premises liability, and dog bite cases.

Personal Injury Attorney Requirements:

• You are actively licensed and in good standing with the Colorado Bar Association and the ABA.
• You take pride in your exemplary communication and self-driven problem-solving skills.
• Your legal writing skills are on point, and you can draft civil litigation documents in your sleep.
• You crave mentorship and enjoy collaborating with senior attorneys to meet our client needs and grow our client base.
• A minimum of one year of litigation experience representing plaintiffs in personal injury matters is required.
• You have experience conducting and leading depositions.
• You have taken a civil litigation case to a minimum of 3-5 jury trials.
• You are tech-savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office, Zoom, Adobe Acrobat Pro, electronic court filing systems, File vine, or another similar case management software.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred but not required.

Personal Injury Attorney Responsibilities:

• Keep files organized to ensure the most recent updates are accessible to other attorneys, paralegals, and staff.
• Collaborate with clients, senior associates, and an entire legal support team to move cases toward resolution efficiently.
• Analyze conflicts in legal matters, advise clients on solutions, and negotiate on behalf of clients
• Conduct legal research, prepare for and attend hearings and/or other legal proceedings, and provide legal counsel with the help of senior associate attorneys.
• Prepare correspondence and legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, affidavits, motions, and settlement agreements for contract negotiations and proceedings.
• Manage day-to-day handling of pre-litigation and litigation files.
• Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding settlement negotiations.
• Guide clients through the personal injury process while educating and advocating for them.
• Work effectively as a team with a case manager, paralegals, and legal assistants to provide excellent customer service to injured clients.
• Work in tandem with other attorneys in the office to develop case strategies.
• Meet all court deadlines.
• Communicate with opposing counsel throughout the length of the case.
• Attend mediation, depositions, and various court appearances.
• Trial strategy and case development with senior attorneys.
• Marketing: networking lunches, daily social media posts about the firm, blog writing, and online videos.
