This is a great opportunity to play an integral role in the creative of a fast-growing lifestyle brand. The Associate Art Director, E-commerce will be responsible for managing design revisions and updates to the Faherty Brand website.

We are looking for someone who tackles projects from a strategic and creative angle, and brings a positive, can-do attitude. This position is for the candidate who wants to jump in headfirst to make an immediate impact, work in a collaborative team environment, and can work independently as well as adhering to project timelines in a fast-paced environment.

This role is based in our HQ in Manhattan


What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with Content, Marketing, Site Merchandising, Digital and UX teams, front end developers to support an engaging, cohesive, on-brand website
  • Support Digital Art director to enhance customer’s e-commerce experience including home page experience and product focused landing pages (focusing on mobile and responsive design first)
  • Concept, design and code all home page updates
  • Design and manage all site images (banners, product images, carousel images, etc.)
  • Proactively use design, UX and concepts to communicate new inspiring digital experiences
  • Must be skilled at visual storytelling, image curation, graphic design and typography.
  • Retouch, color grade photography as needed
  • Support overflow of brand creative or digital creative as needed
  • Ad hoc projects as needed

What you'll have:

  • At least 5 years e-commerce graphic design experience
  • Strong portfolio that illustrates high quality design techniques and refined aesthetic
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and XD)
  • Shopify Website Design experience
  • Knowledge of CSS, HTML and Builder.io
  • Stays current with evolving technology and design landscape
  • Enjoys and thrives collaborating with team members
  • Self-motivated with tenacious follow up skills through verbal and written communication
  • Excellent time management
  • Detail oriented and extremely organized
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

We aim to pay competitively for our size and industry. The base salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 per year, but we will consider location, skill level and experience to determine the final offer. In addition to salary, we offer all Faherty employees an annual bonus opportunity as well as benefits and perks, outlined below.
