This position is tailor made for the individual who is seeking and prepared for a position that will launch their career in the luxury fashion world.

This position entails working directly with the CEO and periodically clients of the company. They are seeking an entry level individual who they will train. The individual sought is extremely poised, personable, trustworthy, organized and mature enough to work with a VIP-level clientele. They want someone who takes pride in their work who is self-motivated by efficiency and quality and be able to think on their feet.

The credentials sought are experience and education in the luxury fashion sector and some exposure to, or interest in, fine designer jewelry.

Additionally, this person must possess at minimum a bachelor’s degree with a high GPA.

THE COMPANY

The designer’s path to fine jewelry began in his youth, while working at his family’s jewelry boutique in Canada. After obtaining his MBA at Harvard Business School, he reentered the fine jewelry industry as the Head of Bridal & Classics at De Beers Diamond Jewelers, a joint venture between De Beers Group and Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy (LVMH). While working with a group of exceptional designers, he became entrenched in jewelry design, but imagined how powerful a design could be if it told a meaningful and personal story. And in this moment, the ethos of the company was born. To date, he has told more than two thousand love stories through pieces of fine jewelry.

The company is a member of the Rock 100, comprised of the one hundred fastest growing startups founded by alumni of Harvard Business School. In 2015 De Beers Group entered a strategic partnership with the designer, offering exclusive access to their most rare and precious diamonds. His designs have been worn by Ashley Judd at the Oscars, Crazy Rich Asians at the global premiere of the movie, and Black Panther by designing the Wakanda Forever ring worn by its lead actress Lupita Nyong’o throughout awards season.

He has guest lectured at Harvard Business School—where he endowed a Fellowship for Entrepreneurship—Stanford Graduate School of Management, Parsons the New School, and others. During his tenure at Harvard, he researched sustainability and economic beneficiation in the diamond mining industry, specifically focusing on Botswana, the world’s leading producer of gem-quality diamonds. He has presented globally, from the World Economic Forum to Engage, the world‘s leading wedding conference. In 2020, he was appointed to a Board Advisor to the Association of Foreign Correspondents. The designs have been featured in the New York Times, VOGUE (USA, India, Japan, Germany, and United Kingdom), CNBC, Forbes, INC, Entrepreneur, CNN, New York Post, among others.
