Summary
We are a small Montessori School in Fall City looking for assistant teachers. Our hours of operation are 7am-5:30pm. We have a Toddler room for children 1-3 years old and a Preschool room for children ages 3-5. We also have 6 elementary siblings that attend our After School Program from 3:30-5:30pm.
The Assistant Teacher supports the Lead Teachers by helping to create a caring and safe environment for the children and assisting in activities to improve the overall care and quality of education. S/he must be able to communicate, listen and work well with others in a team environment. S/he must believe in a quality educational program and in developing positive relationships with the children and their parents.
The ideal candidate is looking for the opportunity to work in a positive, supportive work environment. We offer the opportunity for job advancement and scholarships towards earning a college degree.
This is a part-time position with opportunities for full-time. The shift ends at 5:45pm and start time can be determined at the time of hire.

Duties
- Assist in the implementation of activities and maintain a positive, calm environment.
- Actively engage with children and support co-workers.
- Help ensure smooth, daily transition between home and school.
- Responsibilities will include daily cleaning.
- Follow all center policies and state regulations.
- Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement.

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must currently be living in the United States
Nice To Haves
- The following training will be required, but we can help you through the process:
- Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.
- Food Handlers Permit
- BBP/HIV training
- STARS number
- 30 hours of Childcare Basic Training
- Previous experience in a Montessori classroom
