We are currently seeking an Assistant Store & Merchandising Manager. Hiring full-time in our Belmont location.

Didriks, a premium home furnishings retailer, is seeking a design-savvy and personable team member as an Assistant Store & Merchandising Manager for our Belmont store. Didriks is looking for someone who is a quick learner, takes initiative, is very organized, can work independently, and has the ability to adapt to multiple and changing duties.

This is a full-time position that includes weekends. Compensation will be hourly and there is a strong potential for growth.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

• Maintaining clear communication with vendors and customers
• Providing excellent customer service in-store and over the phone
• Offering design and table styling suggestions to customers
• Sustaining an organized and pleasant shopping environment
• Distributing merchandise throughout the store
• Merchandising products and maintaining all store displays
• Assisting with product photoshoots
• Receiving and unpacking merchandise
• Assisting in organization and execution of in-store events and promotions
• Inventory maintenance
• Opening and closing duties
• Weekends required

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Interest in dining, entertaining, decor, and design
• Excellent organizational skills
• Ability to "wear many hats," and adapt to multiple changing duties
• Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaborate in a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Retail experience preferred
• Design background a plus
• Ability to work with computerized inventory management systems
• Communicate with customers and provide great customer service
• Required to have the ability to lift and move heavy objects
