ARCO Comfort Air, LLC in Solon, OH is looking to hire a full-time Assistant Property Manager to support our property manager in all aspects of running our rental properties, including leasing, resident communications, and maintenance and vendor management. This real estate position earns a competitive wage of $21 per hour, paid weekly. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AN ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER

As an Assistant Property Manager, you help our property manager coordinate and oversee all aspects of the management of our rental portfolio of apartment communities and single-family homes across northeast Ohio. Starting with leasing, you help fill our rental properties with qualified candidates by setting up and monitoring showings. Once candidates are ready to apply, you process their rental applications and guide them through the process of signing their leases, remaining available by phone to answer questions and provide information throughout the process.

For existing residents, you help collect monthly payments and follow up on delinquent accounts when necessary. You respond to maintenance requests, coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure that our properties are safe, comfortable, and well-maintained. Working hard to keep our tenants happy, you provide excellent customer service and uphold a high aesthetic standard for all of our buildings. With an awareness of the big picture, you help our property manager ensure that our rental portfolio meets all monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational targets, including achieving the highest possible occupancy rates and net operating income. QUALIFICATIONS FOR AN ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGER

  • 1+ years of experience working in any aspect of property management
  • In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
  • Competency in Microsoft Office suite, Google Drive, and other relevant databases and software
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Familiarity with maintenance, Tenant Turner software, CMHA inspections, and the rent increase process would be a plus. A comprehensive understanding of the financial aspects of property management is preferred. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel would also be a plus. Do you have excellent interpersonal skills? Are you a strong communicator who can express ideas clearly over the phone, in writing, and in a public speaking context? Can you consistently meet deadlines while juggling many competing priorities?
