YOUR ROLE AS OUR ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT - MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR

You're vital to the operations of our property management and an assistant that our property manager cannot do without. Being highly attentive, you provide essential assistance in the management of our rental portfolio of apartment communities and single-family homes across northeast Ohio. Your duties include coordinating and overseeing all aspects of the rental properties. Starting with leasing, you proactively set up and monitor showings to attract qualified candidates. You also process rental applications and help guide applicants with signing their leases.

Additionally, you collect monthly payments and follow up on delinquent accounts for existing residents when necessary. You also respond to maintenance requests, coordinating with vendors and contractors to ensure that our properties are well-maintained, safe, and comfortable for our tenants. Your commitment to excellent customer service and maintaining high aesthetic standards for all of our buildings is a key factor in keeping our tenants happy.

With an eye toward the big picture, you also assist our property manager in achieving our monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational targets, including the highest possible occupancy rates and net operating income. REQUIREMENTS FOR OUR ASSISTANT PROPERTY MANAGEMENT - MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR

  • 1+ years of experience working in any aspect of property management
  • In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management
  • Competency in Microsoft Office suite, Google Drive, and other relevant databases and software
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Familiarity with maintenance, Tenant Turner software, CMHA inspections, and the rent increase process would be a plus. A comprehensive understanding of the financial aspects of property management is preferred. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel would also be a plus. If you meet the above requirements, we need you.
