Join Community Services Group (CSG), a Certified B Corporation, as an Assistant Program Director for our Adult Mental Health Residential Services and find meaning in your work every day. This position is for our 90 Day Forensic Diversion CRR Program in Highspire, PA (Harrisburg Area). Immediately hiring for this position.

As an Assistant Program Director at the Forensic Diversion CRR, you assist in the supervision and location operation of this program for up to 14 individuals with mental health diagnosis and forensic background at the direction of the program director. You will also:

  • Monitor program and staff compliance to all company policies and procedures and all regulatory standards.
  • Supervise, train, and oversee the performance management of all staff.
  • Ensure the development and implementation of individual program plans and activities.
  • Be willing to learn and model the five principles of trauma informed care; safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment.
  • Have a commitment to promote cultural, racial, language and gender access, diversity, equity and inclusion.

This position offers:

  • $42,000 to $46,000 per year based on experience.
  • $2,000 Sign-On-Bonus that will be paid after successful completion of the initial evaluation period.
  • Full-Time (40 hours per week) Tuesday through Saturday - 3 PM to 11 PM, including on-call.

About the Program:

  • The Dauphin County Forensic Diversion CRR Program works with people with a serious mental illness and forensic involvement. It provides stabilization in a community setting. The program diverts individuals from restrictive inpatient care as well as offers a supportive safety net in transitions from incarceration either as a diversion or re-entry plan.

Qualification:

Must have one of the following:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, plus 2 years of work experience working directly with individuals who have mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities; OR
  • An Associates degree or 60 credit hours from an accredited college or university, plus 3 years of work experience working directly with individuals who have mental illness and/or intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Must have all of the following:

  • At least 1 year of strong supervision/management experience required.
  • Forensic and Drug & Alcohol (D&A) experience preferred but not required.
  • Able to work on-call as needed.
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn software programs (electronic health records, time & attendance, etc.) and to use them frequently.
  • Willingness to align with CSG's Mission and Core Values.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to meet individual's and program's needs.
