Summary
The successful candidate for this full-time, tenure track Assistant
Professor, Nursing position will be responsible for the nursing
specialty areas of Pediatric theory/clinical along with nursing
fundamentals. College of the Redwoods is committed to helping
candidates update their areas of expertise in the specialty areas
who hold the necessary general nursing education/experience
qualifications. Teaching assignments may include evening and
weekend clinical hours. This is a fulltime 10-month commitment per
year. This position will get paid over 12 months that also includes a
winter break and spring break.
Anticipated start date for this position is Fall 2023.

Preferred Qualifications
- College teaching experience.
- Course development experience, as well as experience with course learning management software.
Education and Experience
Minimum requirement:
Master’s in nursing OR bachelor’s in nursing AND master’s in health
education or health science OR the equivalent OR the minimum
qualifications as set by the Board of Registered Nursing, whichever is
higher.

Conditions of Employment

College of the Redwoods Faculty Organization is the exclusive bargaining representative for College of the Redwoods faculty employees. Each employee hired into a faculty position shall contribute to the administration of this contract by membership dues or service fees.
Initial salary placement is determined by education and teaching/professional experience. Refer to the CRFO Collective Bargaining Agreement for specific details on salary placement.
