Job Description
This tenure- track position is responsible for teaching voice related lessons, assisting the education department with teacher certification (music education), and choral conductor for, PV Singers, and the University Concert Chorale. Also, responsible for teaching in your area of expertise, scholarship/production of creative works and service to the department, college, university and profession. Have knowledge on seeking internal and external funding, peer reviewed publications, scholarship, production of creative works, and professional conference presentations.
Responsibilities:

University Choir Conductor.

Teaching Music in the Elementary School, Voice Class, Fundamentals of Music and choral conducting.

Administrative Duties, include, Choir budgets, expense reports and other duties assigned by the Department Chair.

Other duties as required.
Required Education & Experience:

Masters in Music Education/or Doctorate in Musical Arts.

3-5 years experience choral conducting at the high school or collegiate level.

Professional experience may be considered in lieu of teaching experience.
