Atlas Immersion Academy is looking to grow its French Immersion Teaching Team at their school in Hillsboro, Oregon. We are looking to hire child-focused, patient, kind, and collaborative individuals.
*We are currently offering a $200 signing bonus for candidates who have a valid registry in the Central Background Registry*
Our Assistant Teacher would:
- Help to Implement the Atlas Curriculum (which we will train you on) with a specified age group.
- Create fun and interactive learning experiences and prepare kids for their next level of education.
- Manage the routine and environment of the classroom to ensure a safe and nurturing space for all.
- Observe & Assess: observing and documenting the development of children and evaluating the achievement of developmental milestones
- Communicate: on an everyday basis with parents through an app, weekly emails on curriculum, and respectful in-person interactions to achieve success for the child.
We are most interested in talking to applicants that bring with them:
- 1-year experience working in a licensed childcare facility
- Candidates who have the desire to make a positive impact on children's lives
- A positive and patient demeanor
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
- Bilingual or full fluency in French
- Legal right to work in the U.S.

COVID-19 considerations:
Atlas follows the CDC, the OHA, and the Oregon Early Learning Division's latest mandatory guidelines on modified operations practice related to the health and safety of the staff and the customers. Vaccination and mask-wearing are mandatory.
