Job description
The Assistant Nurse Manager / RN is a Registered Nurse who, using critical thinking skills, coordinates the clinical activities within the Department and collaborates with other members of the health care team. Assistant Manager / Registered Nurse directly and indirectly supervises the care rendered by all department staff members. Assistant Nurse Manager / RN assumes house supervision duties as assigned.
Qualifications
EducationRequired: Academic degree in nursing
Preferred: Bachelors or Masters degree
Required: Previous acute care supervisory experience
CertificationsRequired:
- RN Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy.
- BSN preferred
- BLS/CPR certification (American Heart or equivalent)
- ACLS certification (American Heart or equivalent)
