We, at Sea Scape Construction are searching for an Assistant Housekeeping Manager to join our team. Sea Scape Construction runs daily maintenance and cleaning operations for Sea Scape Properties, the leading long-term and vacation rental company in Costal Carolina. We are looking for a hands-on Assistant Housekeeping Manager who is passionate about providing a safe and exceptional stay for guests. You enjoy working in an environment that changes daily. Your ability to multitask allows you to see the big picture of your everyday requirements and assure that all necessary tasks are completed. You have a keen attention to detail and use your organizational skills to inspect rental homes and make sure they are up to company standards. You are a team player and have great interpersonal skills allowing you to effectively communicate with the housekeeping manager, cleaners, and maintenance staff.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Inspections of vacation rental homes post cleaning.
  • Scheduling daily tasks and ensuring it meets business needs.
  • Educating staff on cleanliness, tidiness, and hygiene standards.
  • Participate in large cleaning projects as required.
  • Ensuring company compliance with safety and sanitation policies in all areas.
  • Reviewing inspection sheets and reports.
  • Coordinating with Cleaning Manager to assure appropriate and timely distribution of linens and supplies.
  • Communicating any maintenance needs with Maintenance Manager.

Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Hands-on experience with cleaning tasks for hotels, resorts, or vacation rental companies.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong knowledge of the area(s) served.
  • Ability to function well in a high-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • At least three years of related experience is preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation is required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
