We are looking for individuals age 16+ with some youth development experience to help implement educational, enrichment, and recreational activities. Join a fun team working together to help children succeed and grow into caring, responsible citizens.

This position begins at the end of August.

Duties

Prepare Youth for Success

1. Assists in creating an environment that facilitates the achievement of Youth Development Outcomes:

assists in promoting and stimulating program participation

assists in orienting new members to the Club

assists in providing guidance and role modeling to members

Program Development and Implementation

2. Assists Group Leaders with the implementation and administration of programs, services and activities for members; assists in cleaning and organizing the Club.

3. Assists with monitoring programs, services and activities to ensure Club and child safety, quality programs and good appearance of the Branch/Site at all times.

Requirements

• 
  Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Knowledge of youth development is a plus.
• Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems.
• May assist director or senior staff with parent/guardian communications
• Ability to plan and implement quality programs for youth with help from Branch/Site or Program Directors.
• Ability to follow all safety guidelines.
• Must obtain CPR and First Aid Certifications in order to meet Bureau of Childcare licensing requirements.
• This position may require prolonged periods of standing; some lifting and/or pushing up to 50 lbs. may be required.
