Are you a dynamic Catholic development/fundraising professional looking to make an impact in your community, career and faith? If so, Catholic Charities Atlanta (CCA) wants to speak with you. CCA is seeking a collaborative, self-starter to participate in all aspects of the major gifts cycle. The Assistant Director Supporter Engagement will cultivate and nurture relationships with current and potential individual supporters and foundation and corporate sponsors.

QUALIFICATIONS: BA/BS or equivalent, minimum of 5-years of experience in development/fundraising. Candidate must be computer proficient and have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, and Power Point with strong writing and communication skills. Ability to plan, prioritize and follow-through within a given timeframe is critical. Ability to work independently and as a member of a team. Must be Catholic.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in all aspects of the major gift cycle
• Develop strategies for upgrading donor retention rates
• Participate in planning and coordinating special events including fundraising, donor recognition, stewardship or cultivation events, annual Soiree and other special events

Necessary skill sets:

• Persuasive with strong oral and written communication skills
• Establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, board members, volunteers and donors
• Ability to articulate the case for support so that individuals understand the vision/mission of the agency
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to excel in fast-paced, changing and challenging environments
