Position Overview

You would promote new initiatives and expand Employment services for the persons supported at The Arc Ontario.
Work Location: Canandaigua and Ontario County
Schedule: M-F 8-4 (flexibility to meet program needs)

Responsibilities
- Oversees day-to-day administration of Jobs, Exploration, and Training (JET) Connections community based program services: JET PV, College Experience PV, Project Search, Supported Employment (OPWDD and ACCES-VR) and Pre-Employment Transition services
- Fosters a team approach, promoting Person Centered Planning, Self-Advocacy, and Empowerment, in an effort to assist individuals in meeting their employment outcomes, and safeguarding the rights and protections of people supported.
- Directs management staff responsible for above services; meeting regularly to review operations, performance, and other pertinent issues.

Requirements
- BA/BS degree in Psychology, Social Work or related field and over four (4) years of supervisory responsibility in a program serving persons with disabilities, preferably including some experience in employment supports, or an equivalent combination.
