Assistant Account Manager

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to

  • Prepare for sales meetings including but not limited to line sheets, price sheets, presentations, organizing product for mtgs in showroom, etc.
  • Maintain and update showroom with merchandised products Provide sales reports in a timely manner.
  • Attend sales/market meetings and prepare recaps after mtgs and ensure follow up/follow through.
  • Communicate with factories for any/all sampling.
  • Ensure samples are received and sent out to the customer for review. Follow up and communicate with sales and buying team for approvals.
  • Handle customer service requests with the assistance of the customer service department.
  • Escalate larger service issues to sales management so they may proactively address concerns.
  • Oversee ?nal product development with appropriate teams for all product categories.

Work closely with the sales and VP of Development & Rug Design to ensure they have all information required for new program setup, item setup form, new variant form, market pages, and branding approvals.

  • Work closely with photography to complete all imagery required for labeling/packaging
  • Work closely with design to complete all labeling/packaging before sending o? to buyer for ?nal approval.
  • Work closely with production to ensure all customer details are followed as requested and ordered in a timely fashion.
  • Work closely with logistics to make sure all customer goods are delivered and routed as requested.
  • Periodic travel (Flying to NY/NJ, going to Lowe’s LDC or Corp, store visits).
  • Communicate daily with all account participants to make sure customer needs are satis?ed.
Requirements:

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum High School Diploma. Associate’s or bachelor's degree a plus.
  • Prior experience in big box retailers, preferably Lowes.
  • Strong sales support experience.
  • Highly proficient in Excel (Pivot table a plus).
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize
  • Detail oriented.
  • Team player.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint).
