A Client Capital Management analyst within Real Estate Americas plays a lead role in supporting the firm's real estate investment management platform. This position will constitute investor management, specifically supporting the oversight of client capital activity across all Americas' funds. This candidate will work closely with the Client Capital Management organization and dedicated Investment Specialist ("IS") team as it relates to the oversight and maintenance of all client capital intents, and subsequent processing. Excellent analytical, operational, and financial skillsets as well as attention to detail, time management, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills, are a must.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with all operational and administrative duties associated with client account maintenance (redemptions, contributions, capital calls, trades preparation, income election changes etc.)
  • Maintain real-time commitments and redemptions by client, client account, carryover and rescission
  • Logging client cashflow intent cases through the Spectrum and/or Morgan Institutional systems
  • Identify and/or participate in client engagement process improvements, including enhancement to digital channels (e.g., Morgan Institutional)
  • Serve as counterpart to other internal stakeholders for the capture, memorializing, processing and reporting on all Real Estate Americas client capital activity
  • Primary liaison for Client Account Management and Delaware Operations on client cashflow intents
  • Initiator and coordinator of Capital Calls, from Portfolio Management decision to initiation of drawdowns
  • Prepare and present Fund-specific liquidity trackers to Portfolio Management and Investment Specialist teams on an on-going basis, to facilitate close monitoring by client coverage
  • Ability to synthesize and leverage large data sets in Excel to create custom analysis
  • Perform specialized trend analysis to support client facing team during a redemption queue or "gated" environment
  • Work with internal constituent groups to answer questions and address issues for consultants and clients around Client Capital Management
  • Prepare Wins of the Week emails for senior staff and other capital activity detailed reports on a set frequency
  • Responsible for other ongoing reporting obligations to regulatory and governance forums, including but not limited to, the US Real Estate Oversight Committee, AM Bank Fiduciary Board, OCC and SEC.
  • Controls and Audit Team interface for Capital Activity Review and Trades Oversight
  • Maintain Trades Policies and Procedures; fluid documents reflecting process or legal language changes year over year
  • Coordination of onboarding document amendments around cashflows, from origin to delivery to clients
  • Coordinate contingent transactions, transfers and distributions in-kind for clients; from memorializing in documentation to execution with Cash Operations team
  • Assume ownership of the above listed topics to ensure timely, accurate and quality in delivery of responses to internal and external parties' inquiries
  • Drive operational enhancements to bring efficiencies to Client Capital Management
  • Identify and work on efficiency initiatives to help IS team continue to improve quality of Client Service and Marketing efforts
  • Opportunity for role to grow to participate in process improvements to real estate acquisition or ongoing asset management platforms

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience with financial product analysis, operations or client services experience
  • Advanced knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated and strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment across multiple time zones
  • Strong multi-tasking, time management and problem solving skills
  • Undergraduate/graduate degree in Math, Business, Marketing or related business field
  • Previous experience working with open or closed-end funds would be a plus
  • Knowledge of real estate investing would be a plus
