Assessment Scheduler

As an Assessment Scheduler, you will have the opportunity to coordinate the scheduling of assessments for individuals with developmental disabilities with our field team members and provide technical and project administrative support for various contracts/customers.

Hours: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm ET, M-F - Hybrid: partially home-based and in the VA office.

What You'll Do:

  • You will perform scheduling of off-site face-to-face assessment appointments coordinating with multiple outside resources. Answers phones, monitors email inboxes, orders supplies, and copies and distributes correspondence. Collaborates with field assessors and coordinates appointments for team member calendars. Ensures all documentation is thorough, accurate, and complete in the scheduling application.
  • You will communicate with internal/external customers in a professional manner. Coordinates project documentation and prepare correspondence from/for multiple sources. Provides a basic description of the assessment process to respondents so they understand the duration and purpose.
  • You will monitor the status of assigned productivity and confirmed/completed assessments. Reports variations or discrepancies to management.
  • You will perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.

What You'll Need:

  • Experience scheduling field-based staff (i.e. home health care) coordinating appointments involving multiple parties, such as surgical scheduling using Microsoft Outlook.
  • Four-year degree in business, Information Systems, health care, and/or equivalent training and/or experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent; 2 years experience working in a customer service or healthcare environment.
  • Demonstrated ability working with confidential information and in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and intermediate PC skills.
  • Because of the nature and immediacy of the work, the ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance is essential.
