Starting Pay at $15.50 (and up) hourly with weekly production bonus provided for meeting weekly goals.

Hubbardton Forge employs approximately 250 people in Vermont and is one of the country’s oldest and largest continuously operating commercial forges today. JOB DESCRIPTION

Kit and Prepare Parts for Assembly
Receive product carts from Finish.
Gather parts and print labels according to BOM.
Gather process control documents.
Count and collect quantities of parts as indicated on the BOM and place with products on cart; verify product on cart.
Restock parts from inventory locations throughout the facility.
Complete appropriate paperwork.

Product Assembly
Inspect parts on cart for quality and accuracy.
Review Bill of Material and verify that all necessary materials have been transported from Kitting area.
Identify and pull needed parts and components from assembly area.
Follow work instructions to assemble product including building, fastening components, wiring, and labeling fixtures.

Product Testing
Use test equipment to verify all products are wired correctly.
Rewire as necessary when source of wiring problem is identified.

Product Packing
Gather packaging materials.
Identify and package additional materials for customer installation according to Bill of Material.
Prepare boxes and use packaging materials to secure fixtures in boxes.
Close box and label.
Move box to staging area.
Complete paperwork.
Set-up and maintain packaging machines and materials.
