Qualifications:

• 1 year experience in woodworking, cabinetmaking
• Good communication skills
• Willingness to learn and implement lean manufacturing principles and processes.

Job Summary:

Assembly on our floating shelf line. Assembling custom sized floating shelves in various species of wood with quality in mind.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Positive Attitude
• Gluing and clamping multiple parts together to assemble floating shelves
• Cutting parts when/if needed
• Safe use of hand routers, orbital sanders, saws, and other woodworking machines and tools
• Puttying all joints to spec according to the wood species
• Meeting production times
• Attention to detail, and doing quality checks on your own work
• Learning and implementing lean manufacturing principles
• Good and clear communication to other team members
• Keeping your work area clean and in order
• Continual improvement
• Ability to work independently and to problem solve
• Ability to safely lift heavy items on a regular basis
