Uses a variety of hand/power tools to correctly assemble products.
Job Duties
- Assemble assigned product parts in accordance with production guidelines
- Ensure assembly materials and tools are available
- Perform spot checks of products to ensure the standard of quality is maintained
- Report problems with quality, equipment and material to supervisors
- Maintain an organized work area
- May coordinate job assignments when necessary
- May operate powered industrial equipment
- Complete all documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Perform work under general supervision
- Handle moderately complex issues and problems and refer more complex issues to higher-level staff
- Possess solid working knowledge of subject matter
- Typically require a high school diploma or equivalent and 2 to 4 years of experience
- Provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to subordinate group when needed
- Ability to interpret work instructions
- Ability to follow written and verbal directions
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
- Manual dexterity
- Leadership skills
