JOB TITLE: Assembler
Summary
Royston Group is a leading supplier for grocery, convenience store, retail and laboratory with 9 production facilities (7 domestic and 2 international). The business is owned by a Private Equity company and is growing through a series of acquisitions along with organic growth. The Royston Group has brought under one umbrella a group of industry leading businesses and is honing them into one company. This role will play a key role in driving this strategy of “One Royston”.
Royston LLC currently has an immediate opening for an Assembler. The successful candidate will report directly to the Manufacturing Supervisor over Finishing. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly work environment with a team that is dedicated and passionate about the organization.

Essential Functions/Duties and Responsibilities

We are looking for skilled Assemblers to connect parts into more complex components. You will ensure all parts fit correctly and are suitable for the final product.
You must have good technical knowledge and possess great manual dexterity. Ability to read instructions represented in manuals, blueprints, drawings, schematics etc.
Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
Collect all material and equipment needed to begin the process
Take precision measurements to ensure perfect fit of components
Select or modify components according to measurements and specifications
Align material and put together parts to build more complex units
Check output to ensure highest quality
Report on issues, malfunction, or defective parts
Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Prior experience as assembler preferred
Prior experience in manufacturing preferred
Technical knowledge and ability to read blueprints, drawings etc.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will go prolong periods standing or walking in assigned area, is occasionally required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear. Position Type/Expected hours of work
This is a full-time position on 1st shift. Days of work are Monday through Friday, however this position frequently requires long hours and weekend work.
