Septagon Construction is currently seeking a highly-motivated qualified candidate to join our growing team of construction professionals. Septagon is currently accepting resumes for a Full-time Architectural Design and Drafting Manager. This position will be an integral part of our Construction Services team.

The Architectural Design and Drafting Manager will use architect s specifications to create detailed drawings for commercial buildings and structures. This role is responsible for leading and managing the assigned drafting staff in preparing clear, complete, and accurate working plans and/or detailed drawings from contract drawings, detailed sketches, designs, specifications, and/or notes. The Architectural Design and Drafting Manager will coordinate workload & instructions, including training and providing guidance to drafting staff in order interpret customer requirements from architectural drawings and verbal/written specifications. This includes directing the Design staff and department operations to achieve increased customer satisfaction levels, while improving the impact and influence of the department on other Septagon operations.

Qualified candidates will have an Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and seven years related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The desired candidate will have strong communication and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure to make competent and timely decisions to meet deadlines. They must have the ability to prioritize tasks, so that all tasks get completed in the time allotted, be dependable and work well in a team environment.
