Summary: A Boardwalk Bowl Arcade Host creates the first impression of our unique arcade entertainment experience for our Guests. Arcade Hosts assist Guests in selecting prizes from the redemption counter for the tickets they have won. They assist guests with information and ways to play the arcade attractions. They also offer recommendations for other attractions as well as Bowling, food and beverage. Arcade hosts are friendly, efficient, Guest focused and time conscious.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create a fun experience for Guests and establish a “regular Guest” rapport, while maintaining professional behavior.
• Maintain above standard level of cleanliness and organization of the redemption counter and arcade games (sweep, mop, clean tables etc.).
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the Point of Sale (POS) system, accept payment and provide accurate change and receipt in a timely manner.
• Suggest the best credit value for the Guest / group of Guests.
• Quickly and efficiently process redemption transactions.
• Assist in inventory of stock.
• Promote the entertainment options of the venue.
• Sweep or vacuum all major traffic areas.
• Keep trashcans clean and entrance area free of debris.

Job Requirements:

Skills/Experience:

• High school diploma or GED
• Basic math and computer skills
• A positive attitude and ability work well under pressure with other Team Members
• Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised
• Excellent Guest service and communication skills.
• Strong task and time management abilities

Reporting Relationship:

· Reports to Assistant General Manager

Working Conditions:

· Must be available to work all shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able and willing to stand or walk for up to 8-hour shifts.

· Must be able to speak, read and comprehend English.

· Must have close and distant vision.

· Frequent walking, standing and moving between tight spaces.

· Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs.

· Occasionally lifts/carries up to 50 lbs.

· Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills with frequent use of bi-manual dexterity and fine motor skills.

· Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $13.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Weekend availability
