Arboretum Assistant
Job description
The Responsibility of the Arboretum Assistant is to maintain campus arboretum collection & natural areas by supporting the day to day landscaping. In addition to, horticulture management of grounds and related duties at Kendal- Crosslands Communities.
Must have a professional certification, a two- or four-year degree in Horticultural Sciences, Natural Resource management or related field. Must have communication, and planning skills as well as be willing to work with resident volunteers. Must demonstrate enthusiasm for enhancing the beauty of the campus. Must possess a driver’s license in the state of residence and be insurable by Kendal-Crosslands Communities insurance. Commonwealth of Pennsylvania pesticide applicator’s license needed within 6 months of hire.
