The YMCA of Northern Colorado is seeking an Aquatics Coordinator based at our Lafayette YMCA. This position is a leadership role within the department. Our coordinator will report to the Program Director of Aquatics at the branch and assist in organization, delivery, and maintaining the quality of aquatics programming. This includes assisting in program planning, scheduling and hiring staff. You will also assist with guarding pools in our association.

You are a problem-solver and a communicator: You can have a serious conversation with a 2-year-old about sharing, update a mom on swim lesson offerings and talk about aquatics opportunities for seniors all within a five-minute period.

Qualifications:

• Minimum age of 21. Minimum 3 years lifeguard experience.
• Current YMCA Lifeguard, Red Cross Lifeguard, or equivalent certification.
• Current First Aid, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, and Oxygen Administration certification.
• Ability to maintain certification-level physical and mental readiness.
• Past supervisory experience is preferred.

Hiring Salary Range: $19.50-21.00/hour based on experience and we offer a 10% differential for bilingual staff fluent in Spanish and English. This position is year round, full time 35 to 40 hours each week. Part time and seasonal options are also available.
