Job description
Essential Functions:
  • Conducts business process analyses, needs assessments, and preliminary cost/benefits analyses in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
  • Designs new technology solutions by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.
  • Develops features and requirements into a fully-formed project or feature vision that describes the needs, features, constraints, and scope of project.
  • Understands the process workflow and considers the implication of process changes to the current and future business environment. Uses understanding of business issues and challenges in order to implement successful process and policy updates.
  • Writes and maintains business requirements, functional specifications and test plans.
  • Serves as a liaison between ITSupport, Systems team, OMC team and Developers for system modifications, enhancements, and implementations.
  • Collaborates closely with developers to analyze business project and change requests supporting various enterprise applications.
  • Supports system conversions, upgrades, and enhancements.
  • Provides necessary guidance to testers during QA process.
  • Mentors team members on automation.
  • Identifies improvements opportunities and experiment with different approaches to improve processes and situations.
  • Researches, recommends and implements tools for test automation.
  • Designs and supports framework of test infrastructure.
  • Collaborates with Product Owners in agile environment to meet project deadlines.
  • Facilitates deployments and automates test procedures in both QA and production environments.
  • Serves as subject matter expert in design methodologies, data analysis, cost benefit analysis, benchmark methodologies, and/or business-critical applications.
  • Collaborates with Agile Scrum development teams to identify and resolve production issues.
  • Provides valuable feedback to Agile Scrum Product Owners on application improvements.
  • Monitors/follows up with Agile Scrum team Product Owners on backlog item status.
  • Participates in testing and de-bugging during pre-deployment and post-deployment stages.
  • Creates and executes automated test cases based upon project requirements.
  • Participates in daily Scrum team meetings with developers and product owners to discuss project goals and statuses.
  • Participates in ongoing development, patching, and updating of released products through use of Agile process.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
  • Minimum four (4) years experience in Applications Support, QA testing, or Software Development.
  • Minimum four (4) years experience in programming (required).
  • Any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for this position.

Pay Range: $80,000.00/YR to $100,000.00/YR
