Overview

The Application Integration developer will assist in developing technical specifications for new integrations and implement them in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). Additionally, this role is expected to continuously seek opportunities to improve existing integrations, develop monitoring standards, documentation, and be familiar working in a scrum-based agile environment. The developer will be the technical authority for his/her area of responsibility including new development, upgrades, enhancements, patches, overall maintenance, and production support.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, implement, and upgrade enterprise middleware applications, primarily Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Design, develop, implement, deploy, and support new and existing integrations within established SLAs.
  • Participate in requirements, design, and development reviews.
  • Develop SOAP &/REST/Streaming API-based integrations for combinations of cloud, on-premise and hybrid applications using OIC. Manage approaches that require hybrid endpoints, such as SFTP to REST. Must be comfortable working with varied applications and architectures.
  • Able to build, test, package and deploy code seamlessly to different environments
  • Responsible for maintaining technical documentation.
  • Develop and implement programming and quality standards aligning with underlying product architecture.
  • Manage code repository and version control via Bitbucket/Git.

Qualifications

  • At least two years of hands-on experience working with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
  • Experience in designing and developing complex integrations.
  • Experience in performance tuning, testing, and diagnosis of OIC integrations.
  • Working knowledge of API security certification, authentication,
  • authorization, IP security setup, and end point configuration.
  • Experience in exception handling and monitoring in OIC.
  • Understands change control and DevOps concepts as they relate to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). Have knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, etc.)
  • Five years of experience with XML, JSON, WSDL and XSD.
  • Familiarity with release management tools, such as JIRA.
  • Experience integrating SaaS and hosted applications like Salesforce, Workday, Concur, etc.
  • Experience in integrations with on-prem applications using technology adapters and agents, such Oracle EBS R12.
  • Experience/familiarity with ETL/ELT tools for data staging and movement and experience in integrating with both cloud-based applications as well as legacy systems
  • Strong time and project management skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities with competing deadlines or conflicting demands.
  • Strong analytical, debugging, critical thinking, and troubleshooting skills.

Education

Bachelor's degree in IT or similar Technology related degree

New York, NY and/or Lyndhurst, NJ, hybrid-remote and on-site


Estimated salary range:

$120,000 - $140,000

Base pay is one component of David Yurman’s total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.
