Application Engineer
Provide technical and engineering support to sales and customers for current and new projects for all product lines.
- Review, interpret and prepare a wide variety of documents including: drawings, sketches, schematics, test reports, market analysis, technical analysis, competitive analysis, business case analysis, SWOT analysis, etc.
- Resolve technical issues related to product design and compliance with industry standards.
- Contribute to the design and development of new products as a member of cross-functional teams.
- Understand project requirements and critical features and determine if project is within OmniMax’s scope while managing risk
- Interface regularly with the Engineering Manager as well as the Product Technical Services Team, Product Category Managers, Business Development Managers, Supply Chain, Sales and Operations are required for a successful product development program.
- Determine best method of managing projects from technical and quality standpoints
- Clearly communicate, both written and oral, with customers, vendors, associates and technical consultants.
- Recruit, build and foster cross-functional teamwork on all projects.
- Project Manage all projects from start to finish in a clear, logical manner.
- Maintain pipeline of projects and be able to routinely score and rank projects in preparation for development.
- Communicate project updates to Senior Management as required.
- Use proper judgment and business-sense when information is lacking or unclear.

Education Requirements:
Four (4) year Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent technical degree is required
