Full-time Leasing Agent Job Description

Daily Tasks:
--Strong Apartment Leasing Ability
--Knowledgeable in Fair Housing Law
--Field incoming leasing calls and set up showing appointments
--Assist with taking marketing photos and uploading to Appfolio
--Facilitate move in and move out inspections
--Manage progress of vacant unit turns and communicate with maintenance department
--Generate and send lease agreements
--Know where and how to operate water shut offs to the building for plumbing emergencies
--Send building wide notices to tenants during water shut offs and other building wide maintenance or repairs (tree trimming, roof inspections, exterior painting etc.)
--Monitor condition of the building and curb appeal
--Making key copies when necessary (Petty cash will be provided via credit reimbursements or Home Depot reusable card)
--Fielding noise complaints and any other tenant related issues
--Regularly Interacting with Tenants
--Recording and tracking completion of work orders
--Rent Collection and Lite Accounting
--Facilitate communication between tenants, support staff and management
--Computer proficient: Excel, Microsoft, and Outlook (daily data entry of above listed duties)
-- Proficiency in Appfolio Property Management Software
--Coordinate the quality and completion of unit turns with vendors

  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication ability.
  • High degree of professionalism and dedication to self, co-workers, and clients.
  • Appearance must be neat, clean, and professional.
  • Priorities change often and quickly in this position and the candidate must be flexible and willing to change roles or responsibilities as required.

Qualifications:
--Prefer 2 years of residential agent or property management experience
- Appfolio property management software experience
--Fluency in spoken and written English required
--Need to be able to perform simple math calculations, maintain records and check reports for accuracy
--Requires strong verbal and written communication skills
--Must be patient, self-motivated, understanding, reliable, hardworking, customer service skills, and be able to work independently
--Candidates must possess a valid CA driver's license, a reliable and insured vehicle and an acceptable driving record. (for delivering of rents and paperwork to Main
Office)
--Employment contingent on Background Check, Criminal History Check and
Employment History Verification

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $52,000.00 per year
