Steele Auto Group is looking for a new team member to join the Kyle and New Braunfels team. The business office for these two stores is currently located in Lockhart Texas.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Process and refund extended warranty/finance product cancellations for the dealership
• Process and pay finance product/aftermarket payables
• Process and reconcile manufacturers statements
• Extensive data entry
• Other miscellaneous duties are assigned during the month or for closeout
• Research and resolve and discrepancies ·
• Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential. ·
• Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed. ·
• Knowledge of computerized accounting systems Accounting Clerk Qualifications/Skills: ·
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Reporting skills ·
• Organization, attention to detail, productivity, and dependability

Accounting Clerk Qualifications/Skills:

• Dealership experience is a must!
• Must understand debits/credits and possess basic math skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multi-task
• Ability to be organized, prioritize work, and meet deadlines
• A go-getter that will take charge and be able to manage their workload
• A positive attitude and a professional appearance
• Must work well with others and have good verbal and written communication skills
• Auto Dealership Accounting skills required
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Typing proficiency
• Organization, attention to detail, productivity, and dependability

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
