Animal Care providers and Veterinary hospital caretakers are “essential workers”. Caretakers are the backbone to keeping staff, clients and their beloved animal companions safe and healthy. Will you join our team at Kanab Veterinary Hospital in this VERY IMPORTANT ROLE?

We are looking for a positive, hard working and reliable candidate that can care for animals during their stay and clean up the animal hospital.

Job duties include; but are not limited to: Feeding, walking, and cleaning animals. Monitoring them after procedures. Additional tasks include: cleaning all surfaces (walls, floors, counters, equipment, bathrooms, etc.), mopping floors, laundry, dusting, basic maintenance, basic yard work, and sanitizing sterile areas. Candidate must be able to handle bodily fluids from animals, and not have severe animal allergies.

Must be able to lift 40 lbs without assistance safely. Must be able to bend, twist, kneel, lift without concerns. Must be able to use basic housekeeping tools safely (mops, vacuums, flooring scrub brushes, etc.)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
