Northern Nevada Health System – Sierra Medical Center is a 200-bed tertiary care located in south Reno, Nevada. Our brand new full-service facility presents an awesome opportunity for nurses to help build, grow, and develop Sierra Medical Center into an acute care force in the within the broader Reno, NV community. WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
This position maintains a smooth flow of anesthetic cases, in a timely manner, by assisting the anesthesiologist before, during, and after induction. Has a working knowledge of anesthetic drugs and agents. Is able to pre-test the anesthesia machines and reports deficiency to appropriate manufacturing representative and leadership. Upon request, is able to prepare appropriate equipment necessary for arterial lines, Swan Ganz, and central lines. Is available to assist in room turnover as required.

Job Decription:

Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Associates or BS degree in a healthcare field preferred.
- ASATT certification required within one year of hire.
- Current BLS certification.
