The Queen’s Medical Center has an open position for an Anesthesia Monitoring Technologist.

JOB SUMMARY/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provides hemodynamic and physiological monitoring assistance during induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia; performs firstline maintenance on anesthesia equipment.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology or related field preferred.
• Certification in Anesthesia Technology with the American Society of Anesthesia Technicians and Technologists (ASATT).
• Current certification in Basic Life Support at the Healthcare Professional Level.
• One (1) year experience as an Anesthesia Monitoring Tech or Cardiac Tech highly preferred.
• Knowledge of procedures relating to sterile and aseptic techniques and infection control.
• Experience operating blood gas analyzing machine and anti-coagulation instruments preferred.
