This position supports casino revenue growth through the strategic planning, implementation, execution and analysis of casino participation and revenue reporting, including but not limited to database and direct mail programs, as well as demonstrating the GILA WAY.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Promotes and provides excellent guest service experiences to both internal and external guests.
• Manages the implementation, execution, and delivery methods of the reporting and analytics.
• Manages the delegation to and day-to-day activities of the Marketing Analysts.
• Manages the analysis of all casino direct mail and database programs to include the following. Controls standardization of copy, design and structure. Control accuracy of all content and files. Evaluates programs and determines the most effective criteria and offer tactics. Manages validation and accuracy. Manages all program proforma creation, approval and post analysis.
• Addresses all guest inquiries regarding direct mail and offer structures.
• Manages the external department requests for ad-hoc reporting and/or analysis.
• Promotes the highest degree of quality customer service, both internally and externally.
• Responsible for mentoring and developing Pathways Mentorship Program participants to successfully transition to management level positions.
• Maintains a dependable work attendance record with extremely infrequent absences and/or lateness.
• Performs other special projects and duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Directly supervises multiple employees. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; address complaints and resolving problems

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Analytics or related degree program preferred.
• Experience in report creation, report writing, SQL, SQL Server Reporting Service, analytics, events or promotional field experience required.
• Supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Must have strong database skills with excellent leadership in organizational, communication, human relations, decision-making and creative problem solving skills.
• Knowledge of database marketing principles and systems; analytical, financial and operational reporting required.
• Broad knowledge of the Gila River Indian Community and extensive knowledge of gaming industry preferred.

• Must possess excellent guest service skills, be a self-starter with the ability to multitask, follow-up and complete tasks in a timely manner with minimum supervision.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships as well as to gain the cooperation of guests, and fellow team members.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
• This position must have, or an ability to acquire within one year, an in-depth knowledge and thorough understanding of Enterprise Policies and Procedures, governmental regulations, and technical rules relevant to their responsibilities.
