The JetBlue Travel Products (JTP) Analyst, Paid Media and Performance Marketing is responsible for maximizing the impact and effectiveness of all JetBlue Vacations and Paisly by JetBlue advertising initiatives. The Analyst will join JetBlue Travel Products’ Advertising and Brand team and partner closely with internal and external stakeholders to outline the media strategy and create and implement media plans. This role will manage JetBlue Vacations and Paisly by JetBlue paid media planning, execution, reporting and optimization with a focus on acquisition-driving media campaigns. This position will play a key role in managing the day to day workstreams with ad agencies and business partners as well as manage paid campaigns on select channels including paid search and paid social.

Essential Responsibilities

    • Oversee the strategy and manage several online and offline marketing channels such as paid search, paid social, affiliate, programmatic display, online video, television, partnerships and more.
    • Responsible for monitoring paid media investments ensuring continuous improvements to our media efforts to ensure the most effective use of the marketing budget.
    • Manage select advertising channels in ad serving platforms including, but not limited to, paid search (Google Ads) and paid social (Facebook).
    • Serve as JetBlue Vacation’s paid search and paid social expert, overseeing strategy and execution of paid search tactics across all JetBlue Vacations’ and Paisly by JetBlue campaigns.
    • Partner with external ad agencies to strategize and execute acquisition marketing campaigns to drive revenue and bookings.
    • Analyze campaign performance and make recommendations for future testing/optimization across paid channels (marketing variables including offer, copy/messaging, targeting and segmentation and creative).
    • Regularly analyze and report out on data and metrics to identify key opportunities to improve KPI performance, increase scale and enhance efficiency of marketing spend.
    • Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly recaps to leadership with opportunities for optimization.
    • Translate business goals into media briefs to guide advertising agency(s) in the development of campaigns.
    • Oversee affiliate marketing strategy including managing agency(s) to develop and execute strategy across affiliate marketing ecosystem including partner recruitment, partner evaluation and commission structures.
    • Collaborate with Lead to manage marketing tech stack and find opportunities to advance campaign measurement and customer insights.
    • Other complex projects and duties as assigned.

Minimum Experience and Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant experience.
    • Four (4) years of paid marketing experience.
    • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
    • Must be skilled at exhibiting attention to detail.
    • Must be meticulously organized about meeting timelines, deliverables and following processes/procedures.
    • Excellent at proofing written and visual creative concepts before B2C launch.
    • Comfortable working cross functionally with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Available for occasional overnight travel (10%).
    • Must pass a ten (10) year background check.
    • Authorization to work in the US is required, this position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications

    • Digital media buying experience in console, Paid Search (Google Ads, SA360), Programmatic DSPs (DV360, Yahoo DSP, The Trade Desk, Xandr, Amazon DSP) Google Ads (GDN, Discovery, Performance Max, YouTube), paid social (Meta, Pinterest) for a period of at least 12 months.
    • Experience optimizing toward and tracking performance of digital marketing KPIs including ROAS, CPA.
    • Understanding of cross-channel media planning including paid social, paid search, Programmatic, Content Integration, Online Video, High Impact Display, TV, Print, OOH.
    • Experience in Meta Commerce Manager and Meta Travel ads strongly preferred.
    • Media Optimization experience strongly preferred.
    • Past experience working with or at an advertising, marketing or media agency.
    • General understanding of digital advertising, digital media strategy, ad placement type, placement- level insight and standard media metrics.
    • Experience and understanding of digital marketing analyses and A/B testing of creative to better our email and website marketing strategies.
    • Experience designing and executing brand marketing prioritization across a brand website (what products/destinations/features to highlight) for a period of at least 12 months.

    • Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short-notice.
    • Able to maintain a professional appearance.
    • When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft.
