Title of Position: Analyst Assistant FLSA Status: Exempt

Department: Finance Salary: $65,000

Reports to: CFO

Positions reporting to this position: None


Purpose of the Position:

Reporting directly to the CFO, the Analyst Assistant works to improve projects within the entire Finance Department. S/he is required to analyze and forecast financial data as well as work on multiple projects with concurrent deadlines.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate summaries of various financial reports and audit findings to various departments.
  • Coordinate and respond to external requests for financial information and reports.
  • Coordinate activities in Finance Departments and Program Services for special and recurring projects.
  • Provide administrative support to the Finance Department as needed.
  • Assist in annual budget preparation and program projections.
  • Provide support to Accounts Payable and Payroll Departments as needed.
  • Coordinate multiple projects with concurrent deadlines.
  • Must interact Win senior managers on a regular basis.
  • Track, monitor and follow up on internal and external communications related to the Finance Department.
  • Monitor communication with external funders and ensure timely follow up.
  • Read, analyze, and interpret documents needing the Vice President of Finance approval/signature for accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Essential Functions:

Must be able to sit at a computer for the majority of the work day.


Qualifications/Skills and Knowledge Requirements:

  • Commitment to Win’s mission, vision and values.
  • BA/BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
  • Certified Financial Analyst (CFE) and related certification a plus.
  • Excellent Microsoft Suite skills required.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills required.
  • Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Must have prior experience in a financial setting
