Job description
A Better Tomorrow Education is a devoted educational company providing tutoring services for children throughout California. We are seeking qualified individuals who can assist students in Grade levels K-5th in both Language Arts and Mathematics. Tutors will be required to service students at a designated school site in the city of Anaheim, California, Monday through Friday from 2pm to 5 pm.
Responsibilities
- Tutors are responsible for providing students with homework help and to help understand concepts/ complete assignments. All materials and student curriculum will be provided to our tutors by the school site and/or A Better Tomorrow Education.
- Tutors will be responsible for classroom management, as well as assisting students with homework and assignments. Tutor must be able to manange, supervise, and instruct a large group of 15-20 students at a time.
- Tutors must provide students with positive and constructive feedback when appropriate.
- A monthly and final progress report is to be completed for each student by their assigned tutor and daily attendance will also be taken for each child.
Requirements
General knowledge base of Elementary level Language Arts and Mathematics
- Any experience working in education is appreciated, but not required. Tutor will receive training by both ABTE and district.
Ability to pass a LiveScan.
