Make an impact on clients and their children. This position provides evidence-based assessments, substance abuse treatment, and recovery support to program participants.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Work in conjunction with the Family Coaches at the Oregon Department of Human Services (ODHS).
  • Engage client in the treatment process including informing client about the elements of the process.
  • Conduct an assessment and brief intervention of clients who have been referred to the program. Refer to a higher level of care if needed.
  • Using the program policies and protocols, participate in the direct treatment of clients.
  • Maintain accurate documentation in accordance to Oregon Administrative Rules.
  • Outreach and community networking, coalition building, and regular coordination of care with referents via status reports, in person, phone, or emails.
  • Drive to meet with clients and community partners within the community.


Education / Experience

  • Bilingual/bicultural English and Spanish preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Required to have a CADC I or able to obtain one within a year of hire.
  • A minimum two years of experience providing case management and/or resource information, referral and advocacy services to at-risk populations.
  • Experience with behavioral health assessments and be able to link the multi-dimensions to an accurate DSM-5 diagnosis and ASAM level of care.
