Terran Orbital Corporation is seeking an experienced AIT Technician at our Irvine, CA location. As an AIT Technician, this individual will work within a multidisciplinary team to integrate and test at both the system and subsystem levels for satellite vehicles. This role will be working on the 2nd shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm.

Specific tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Follow detailed procedures to test complex electronic modules

• Operate test equipment and instrumentation including thermal chambers, power supplies, DAQs, e-loads, DMMs and more

• Operate hand tools such as screwdrivers, torque wrenches, tweezers, scissors, etc.

• Perform miscellaneous lab duties including kitting, inventory, and organization tasks

• Communicate statuses, issues, and suggestions effectively to the support engineering team

• Updating documentation and hardware statuses through online services

• Basic avionics and electrical troubleshooting

• Assist in spacecraft flight integration activities

• Other duties as assigned

• Shift time: 2nd shift: 2:00pm – 10:30pm

Requirements

• Ability to read, understand and follow detailed work instructions for testing flight modules
• Proficiency with Windows 10, Microsoft office products and internet browser applications

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Competency with a variety of test equipment such as thermal chambers, power supplies, DAQs, e-loads, DMMs and more

• Familiarity with cleanroom cleanliness standards and ESD precautions

• Meticulous attention to detail and documentation
