Come join the Lenovo WW HPC & AI Sales team. Lenovo is looking for a highly skilled Business Development Manager specialized in artificial intelligence and accelerated computing.
This is a remote position and can be located anywhere in the United States.
Description and Requirements
Can you lead the route to market strategy, business development, and launch of innovative multi-party AI solutions?
In this new role you will be responsible for developing business with new technology partners at WW level, with a focus in NA, and answer to our Global AI Lead. You will collaborate with sales, product Business Units, channel organization across the globe.
What else is waiting for you in this role?
- Identify (Hunt) and/or Grow (Develop) opportunities in the market to sustainably improve Lenovo’s AI business solution
- Collaborate with sellers, tech leaders and partners to optimize routes to markets for Ai solutions
- Engage ISVs/Partners to enable sales through certification, trade marketing programs
- Understand customers’ challenges in adopting AI and be the AI Trusted Advisor
- Support technical conversation with customer around HPC & AI
- Develop solution documentation/ write-ups
- Identify emerging industry markets
- Travel to conferences and customers sites to present AI solutions
Position Requirements:
Basic Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience in business development role in the IT industry
- Proven track record in Solution Selling sales – ideally focused on vertical frameworks such as Retail/ MFG/Healthcare in the Hardware environment
- Collaborative, and commitment to achieving goals
- Track of record in building and executing business development plans
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
- Passionate self-starter and self-learner with initiative and motivation, willing to pick up new skills across Business and technical topics
- Experience with successful partner engagement
- Ability to work from a home office with up to 30% travel
- Bachelor's degree in Business, marketing or similar
- Experience with high tech, big-ticket products or solutions in AI & Data Science
- Experience around GPU accelerators
