Operates a wide variety of farm equipment including tractors, cotton pickers, combines, backhoes, etc. Assists in all stages of planting, fertilizing, cultivating, and harvesting of field crops. Uses tractors and other equipment equipped with GPS guidance.

Duties & Responsibilities
The purpose of the Agriculture Worker III position for the Maricopa Agricultural Center is to operate farm machinery and irrigate fields crops for all research plots on the station. A wide variety of equipment is utilized throughout the production and harvest of field crops. Additionally other equipment for maintaining roads and other infrastructure will be used. Applying pesticides and other assigned tasks are also necessary for the care of research field plots.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent, or equivalent learning attained through experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required.
