We are looking for an Agriculture Loan Processor (internal title = Financial Specialist) to join our Montana Lending Team in Sidney. This is a career opportunity role for someone who is detail- and process-oriented with a knack for quickly learning systems, and the ability to keep multiple work streams moving forward.

This highly (internal and external) customer service driven full-time position reports to the Operations Manager and is responsible for assisting with preparing Agriculture loan documents and processing Agriculture loan transactions. (Previous administrative assistant experience preferred, and/or banking and Agriculture experience preferred but not required - we provide the resources to learn the job). Primary Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Gather customer information in order to complete loan documents
  • Meet with customers and present documents for signing; respond to customer inquiries
  • Accurately enter and maintain customer information into applicable systems
  • Process transactions including checks and receipts
  • Coordinate with external entities such as title companies, escrow services, attorneys, appraisers, insurance, and real estate agents
  • Perform file maintenance on loans, including managing customer accounts, updating yearly monitoring requirements, and confirming continued insurance coverage

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma, or equivalent
  • Ability to organize and prioritize work, and produce accurate reports and documents
  • Exceptional customer service orientation
  • Strong computer skills, and experience using MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in commercial lending, banking, or related field
  • General knowledge of applicable credit laws and regulations
  • Knowledge of credit investigation and verification practices
  • Knowledge of platting and legal descriptions
