Job description
The wage scale for this position is $13-16/hour.
Primary Function:
Plan, implement, supervise and continually assess activities. Align lesson objectives to program standards. Create positive opportunities for members and families, and display enthusiasm for the learning process and after-school programming. Support the mission of the Starke County Youth Club.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalency certificate.
- Knowledge of methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups.
- Knowledge of youth development and developmentally appropriate practice.
- Experience working with children.
- Ability to motivate youth and manage behavior problems.
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
- Highly developed organizational skills.
- Reliable transportation.
- Federal, state and local employment requirements.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $13.00 - $16.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- North Judson, IN 46366: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
Experience:
- Childcare: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
- CPR Certification (Preferred)
