CopperView Medical Center is looking for board-certified advanced practice providers; nurse practitioners and physician assistants to provide patient-centered care for adults in our expanding primary care practice and urgent care.

This position is only for nights (12 pm-10 pm) and weekends (10 am-8 pm). There are currently no day shifts available.

We are an independently owned clinic in South Jordan, Utah, just southwest of Salt Lake City. Our successful primary care practice is currently staffed with four physicians, three Med-Peds physicians, one Pediatrician, and seven advanced practice providers; nurse practitioners, and physician assistants. Medical assistants are utilized to provide the necessary support to our medical providers. In total, CopperView employs approximately 45 people.

Responsibilities for the Advanced Practice Provider

• Work with the primary healthcare team to provide patients with primary medical care services within the standard of care for our patients.
• Order laboratory and radiology tests and refer patients to specialists when appropriate.
• Prescribe pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens to treat identified and documented medical conditions.
• Adhere to departmental policies, procedures and objectives, ongoing quality improvement objectives and safety, environmental, and infection control standards.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with all federal and state health information privacy laws.
• Record complete, timely and legible medical records.Qualifications
• Board Certified
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.
• Current license to practice and DEA.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
