Massapequa Center Rehabilitation & Nursing is committed to improving our patients' quality of life & autonomy through innovative rehabilitative services, and an exceptional level of client-centered care and attention. We are seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Adult Day Care Director to join our interdisciplinary team of skilled health care professionals at our nursing facility in Amityville!
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee the overall day to day operations of the adult day care and staff.
- Ensure New York State regulations and guidelines are being maintained.
- Creates and implements facility programs.
- Develop and maintain policies and procedures.
- Oversee staff, including hiring, managing and evaluating.
- Prepare necessary reports.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare field preferred.
- Adult Day Care, LTC or Hospital Management experience.
- Knowledge of NYS guidelines.
- Prior management experience.
- Strong leadership & interpersonal skills.
- Must be well organized and able to lead team development.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills.
