Lakeland Surgical & Diagnostic Center has the following job opening for Admission Clerk – FT available (Hours and days will vary, Monday-Friday). Welcomes patients, families, physicians and visitors to the Surgery Center either in person or over the phone. The general duties include registration and pre-admission of patients, receiving and directing incoming calls, distribution of mail and messages, coordination of patient activities with the nursing staff, and assisting the business office as necessary for all campuses.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Education: High School graduate or equivalent.

License/Certification: Current CPR Certification or obtain certification within 6 months from date of hire.

Experience: Minimum of 1 to 2 years of directly related experience, previous experience in a medical admitting department, familiarity with computerized registration systems preferred.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule Monday through Friday.
