The Opportunity:
Provide administrative support across the flight department as directed.
  • Assist with scheduling and monitoring appointments and/or meetings via phone and Microsoft Office for Chair. Respond to phone, email and walk-in inquiries of a wide variety, nature and complexity. Filter inquiries to the proper department/locations. Follow up on outstanding issues and/or verify accuracy/completion of projects. Draft documents and various correspondence as needed.
  • Be able to summarize meeting results including but not limited to minutes, tasks due out, and decisions.
  • Be able to create, analyze and implement new process and data flow diagrams for the flight department personnel actions
  • Assist Flight line employees with various functions and/or requests to assure accuracy, timeliness and professionalism in the day-to-day operation of the Flight Department. Some items include, but not limited to, assisting employees’ correspondence, operation of various office equipment, understanding data and reporting requirements established by Director Budget and Administration
  • Be able to extract data and correlate with ERAU BI tools.
  • Manage and track IT infrastructure plans, renewal and updates for flight department
  • Create visually simple presentations of data sets from complex and variable sources
  • Serve as HR process expert for flight department, assisting subordinate business elements with preparation, tracking, and reporting of HR processes
  • Independently function as liaison from flight department to College of Aviation, Campus and University offices as needed for successful department operations.
  • Coordinate and/or enable social events for the flight line during normal business hours. Events include BBQ’s, welcome and going away get togethers.

Qualifications
Required Education:
Associate degree or completion of program of 18+ months after high school. Area of study: Business Management; Data Integration/Analytics.
Required skills, knowledge, abilities:
  • Advanced Excel and AC skills including data extraction, advance & complex formulas, Pivot Tables, financial and operational process model diagrams and representation in Excel, multi-source charting and graphing including automatically updated displays.
  • Analytical skills with an in depth knowledge of information systems such as Outlook/email, and Internet end-user applications
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, initiative and teamwork
  • Demonstrated collaborative skills
